The Problem
Mercado Libre experiences extended delivery times for packages transported from its facilities to end recipients.
The Goal
To accelerate package delivery from Mercado Libre facilities.
Function & Components
Summary
The drone comprises multiple components. Its form integrates organic and geometric elements in a radial and symmetrical design, providing stability and enabling 360-degree camera coverage.
Propellers
The motor housing is mounted on an arm structure which supports the propellers. The cable pathways are integrated within the arm.
Body - Top
The body of the drone is a circular structure with a slightly domed top. It houses essential components, such as cameras, sensors, batteries, flight controllers and GPS modules, in addition to other common components found in drones, also features a small circular button near the center. It is integrated with the radial arm structure that supports the propellers.
Body - Bottom
The drone's bottom portion is a circular shape designed for package transportation. It features a prominent circular indentation for payload mounting and a LED light for signaling.
