The Problem
Traditional umbrella stands often occupy significant space, making storage inconvenient and inefficient.
The Goal
To design a compact and functional umbrella stand that efficiently utilizes space, providing a convenient storage solution.
Function & Components
Summary
The umbrella stand has a sturdy, turned wood base. On top, a plastic component features drainage holes and a concave water collector.
Base
The base is crafted from turned wood, providing a sturdy foundation due to its weight distribution. It complements diverse interior styles, while a protective coating ensures resistance to water. A groove is incorporated to hold the upper component.
Umbrella holder
The umbrella holder is a functional component designed to accommodate multiple umbrellas. Equipped with drainage cutouts, it collects water from the umbrellas, preventing water from spreading to the surrounding area.
